I work in inventory control. I have done inventory control for every type of business but mostly manufacturing and distribution. My sorta previous employer under paid me and took advantage of my normally accommodating attitude. I choose to put my two weeks in 18 months ago after getting a offer from my sorta current employer. The plant managers last words to me were “our inventory system doesn’t work without you.” I said “pay me more.” Fast forward to the present. I get a call from my sorta previous employer “we need you. Will you listen to a offer?” I said “sure.” They are a great company just always trying to get by on the cheap. I just accepted a offer at double what I made plus bonuses. Plant manager says “we should never lost you.” I said “stop being cheap and you will not lose more.” My first priority stepping into my new job is give everyone on my team a raise.
