Some background:
I'm a Gen-Z college student and have been self-employed since the age of 14, growing up I would see how my mom's 9-5 would allow us to live, but she was constantly gone and I had to figure out life a lot on my own. It shouldn't be that way, we are humans and should be able to raise our young, be able to live, etc..
Being the young misfit I am I took it upon myself to educate myself on self-employment and building businesses, at the age of 15 I started with $40 and with pure hustle got the business to six figures.
It was my fear of a 9-5 that drove me, to where I am today.
I did opt to put that business on hold in order to focus on web 3 technology. I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with the new tech but essentially what it allows us to do is democratize institutional power. It is a very complex subject but I do think this technology could solve a lot of the pain points workers have.
I think a lot of people misunderstand this Reddit, because from what I see this isn't a community of people who are lazy. But people who have been wronged in the workplace just want to live life.
I am also a part engineer and I have come up with what I think could be a solution, for those who want a living wage, and a way of work where there is:
-living wage is made
-no office
-no boss
-fulfilling work
-proof of work rather than college or certifications that put you into debt and get most stuck in the corporate world in the first place
Its called a DAO
which stands for a “Decentralized Autonomous Organization”
YOU pick on what you want to work on, YOU get done what you need for your dream life, and YOU work in a task-oriented way, not in a boss bossing you way.
Not many people know about this form of work, it's a really complex subject to understand and because it is so new the barrier to entry is clunky and takes a lot of time to get over.
I have decided to start engineering my own way of letting people do this type of work, A mass Employment DAO where anyone can complete tasks and level up, much faster than an IRL job or college. And once doing so can accept tasks to contribute to for different companies, with a robot managing the verification process and all.
Some could compare this to freelancing, but freelancers also need to know how to market in order to get clients, in this system people just need to prove the work can be done in an efficient manner that is fair in pay and quality for both ends.
Any feedback or things I might have missed that could be crucial in making this system valuable?
