In October 2021, I applied for a job in Germany. The interview went well and I was offered a job.
I was to start this summer, and I did. They offered me a relocation bonus (payable with the first month's salary) since I had to move from a third world country to Frankfurt.
Now that I am here and I have started, they told me that for the relocation bonus to be given to me, I need to give them one of the four documents (Rent Contract ; TV bill ; Phone bill ; Internet bill), plus the documents need to be issued within 15 calendar days before or after my interview (October 2021).
Now tell me, why did they do this. I am just speechless.
9+ months have passed and I'm some 1500 miles away from home. Such an arbitrary rule which seems made only for me to not get my relocation bonus.
It wasn't a good start for me and I'm super sad.
