I started a serving job recently at a restaurant. This is a fine dining restaurant and is a bit higher class for the area.
This restaurant has a bunch of cliques, which doesn’t exclude managers.
I’ve had a few conflicts with the “in” girls due to them trying to bully me for being new. The manager is dating one of these girls and is privileged to their gossips and thoughts.
Queue a manager that won’t jump out of my throat.
Obviously because of the ongoing situation I don’t talk to anybody at work other than my tables, a lot of people give me small snippy comments all the time and don’t attempt including me so why would I?
This manager, shit you not, pulls me into his office and tells me to START TALKING TO MY COWORKERS MORE as a demand??
How much of a paint-chip connoisseur do you have to be to be able to recognize I talk to nobody, but fail to recognize nobody talks to me and gives me a hard time.
