I feel like the first generation after many generations where the majority will not be able to retire in old age has already been born. I know so many people who are consumed by working just to avoid being homeless, let alone have any chance at saving up for retirement. It’s quite clear that many don’t even have a pathway to retirement, and the companies they work for don’t care and even reducing the retirement opportunities they afforded the previous generations.
