Having a minimum wage is worthless. Why are you Americans fighting for a minimum wage, where the battle should be wages that are around the mean. The second battle should be to move all salaries and capital ownership to weigh close to the mean. That is, by definition, a fair society. If the standard deviation is narrow, all benefit. It's pure maths.
Why are we so reluctant to just distribute somewhat equally? Just right above the mean should be enough for most people. What is the problem? I'm genuinely curious.
