I created an awesome graphic as a redesign for a company I used to work at. We had done yearly redesigns since then. We only had 2 graphic developers when I left. The surviving one got promoted to level 2. Something I was always denied because of my gender (officially I was let go for not fitting in, but I was better at the job and had more things I could do, I found out from some ears that my other coworker, couldn't remember how to do AE with out me, so they current clients, and probably can't grab future ones asking for the same thing. I guarantee it was because I was a man and everyone else on my team was a woman)
My supervisor always had it in for me, never liked me once they became my supervisor. So trumped up that I asked too many questions (or not enough) about this design. Decided to pay the LinkedIn profile and the website and sell seeing the graphic hold up now for 2.5 years. Apparently that graphic exceeded their expectations or the other developer can't come up with something busy.
Kind of feel vindicated. I had already found a job when I got fired btw. I had gotten a 6k raise, and a year later I got it again. They did me a favor to be honest.
