There was actually a time in North America where a family could buy a decent home with just one minimum wage income.

Add a second minimum wage earner to the family or a higher paying job for one earner and it was no problem! Today, I find young people (many at least) have given up on the dream of home ownership. Working hard doesn’t lead you to realizing your dreams anymore. It might have at one time, but not anymore.
