There’s just no limit to rich people’s greed

Without going too much into detail about my personal life and the company I work for; I'm working in sales for a European IT consulting company. Last years order intake was €150 million. This year to date, the order intake stands at €230 million already. Some sales colleagues started joking about not having to work anymore until Christmas. But we still keep working. Seriously, why tho? Isn't it enough exceeding last years order intake by €80 million by August? Also Consulting is an area where wage exploitation can be seen vividly; the gap between what the company charges the customers for hours worked and what a consultant makes is huge. To answer my own question: we're still working so the shareholders can make even more money. I just checked the public records, 2020 all corporate profits went to shareholders. To answer my own question: we're still working so the shareholders can make even more money. I just checked the public records, 2020 all corporate profits went to shareholders. The shareholders being private equity funds. And we know who's got money in private equity. Not ordinary people.
