There’s literally mouse shit on the counters at work when i come in.

This is my first fast food job but I've had many other retail jobs but is it normal for it to have mice? The only thing I'm scared of is getting the disease you get from rat shit that has no cure. Do all fast food places have some sort of pest? I'm in California and I'm getting annoyed by having to clean the counters where cups and coffee are made because of mice / rat poop.
