I received a verbal/written offer for a job I was really looking forward to work for. I did my background check and drug test as instructed by the recruiter. It’s been 30 days since I heard anything from the company. I’ve been in contact with the recruiter but they work for corporate and don’t know anything going on at the job site. The only thing they can tell me is that I’m still in the pre hiring process and I would have to call the job on-site. I spent 2 weeks calling the jobs hr department trying to figure out a start date and no one ever picks up. I left messages and emails not a word. Nobody can tell me what’s going on beside they only have 1 person working the hr department. What happened to companies telling you that you didn’t get the job. I’d rather have someone tell me I didn’t get the job so I can move on but no one cares.
