I’m kinda pissed so I just wanted to vent for a bit. I just recently got food poisoning from going out to dinner with my girl Wednesday and had taken the day off Thursday. I ended up feeling like shit due to it all day and have not felt any better since. I can’t eat well, I’m dehydrated, constantly in the bathroom, etc. i texted my boss yesterday if I could work from home due to feeling horrible (we’ve also been incredibly slow so I didn’t think we would have much to do), turns out we did but I took care of it this morning just to show I’m able to do work but I just can’t leave my bed. My boss then tells me, we’re going to discuss this Monday, like what’s to discuss?? I never take sick days and I’m still willing to work despite how shitty I feel. I did my work and he still drags to fucking respond. This guy is a fucking hypocrite and he’s always saying how much he hates to work from home but he does it all the time. I can’t wait to leave this fucking job cause this is a fucking reminder that these jobs do not give a fuck about you.
