I work as a cook and it infuriates me when I see the menu for literally fried chicken tenders or some other heart attack on a plate cost more than my hourly pay. We make that food so damn fast we pop out hundreds of dishes by the time the lunch rush is done. I get paid 12.50/hr. Chicken tenders cost $14, a Philly cheesesteak $15, 2 tacos $14.
