I was hired to drive a forklift but really they just wanted manual labor. I haven’t touched a forklift and it’s been 6 weeks. Instead I have a repetitive strain injury. I get paid $17.28 in my “temporary” role while everyone else gets >$25 and benefits. My “benefit” is “free” beer which they deduct from my pay. They also deduct union fees despite the fact I have NOWHERE near union pay. I’ve never been so taken advantage of in my life.
