Thinking about asking for a raise but idk how to go about it. Please help.

Hey all. I work for a money company that has been around for a very long time (since 1897. I looked in the company website). I make $15 and I do SO MUCH and the quantity of items I have to touch makes to sense compared to what I make. The cost of living and inflation is kicking our asses. So many people are leaving because they haven’t upped the pay. I’ve been there since November 2021. I asked someone else who’s been there for a while when was the last time they had a raise and they said 2017. That makes absolutely no sense. We started around the same time, and the manager and 2 of the supervisors have constantly told me that I’m doing a great job and was doing too much work without sharing it with my partner in the room (I’ve fixed that).

I don’t know if I need to reach out to the branch manager of the building or the CEO of the company. I have never asked for a raise with any company before so it’s new to me. Honestly, I’m afraid I may lose my job for asking and I cannot afford to lose my job BUT I want to ask.

Any advice?
