Let me start this off by apologizing as I am on mobile.
The Rant.
I love the company I work for and they have been great… Until today. I am so unbelievably digusted we are being asked if we want to donate our time off. This is a company that hourly employee have to EARN their time off every paycheck. This is a company that just aquired 2 other company's this year alone. So why can't they just give the employee in need the time off? More importantly I don't believe this company would fire this individual for taking the time off, I DO think this the company who wouldn't pay them for that time off. I am so unbelievably upset that our company doesn't have the human decency to help themselves, and rather ask that other hardworking folks who have issues of their own to forfeit their hard earned time off.
TLDR: Million dollar for profit company asks for PTO donations rather then giving the PTO themselves.
