I was hosting a birthday party for my daughter and while I sat in the family room with my mom, MIL and kids, I heard my FIL and step dad going on about how THIS generation doesn’t want to work. I look over at my mother to ask, “Is there a specific generation they’re calling out?” She just rolled her eyes and kept playing with the kids.
I mentioned it to my husband and he said, “Yup, between the guy who retired years ago and doesn’t do shit and the other guy that won’t shut up about how much he doesn’t want to work and can’t wait to retire.”
Please don’t ever let me be the old lady making generalizations in the corner.
