Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I work at Wendy’s and yesterday we were short staffed as usual, but I left in the middle of my shift (I was supposed to close) because I customer got mad and threatened to come back with a gun. I told my coworkers I’m sorry but I’m out going to stick around and wait for him to come back, they acted like I was crazy for leaving. I don’t regret it though, I’m not about to die at a fucking Wendy’s for $12 an hour. I don’t know if I’m in trouble, I work tomorrow so we’ll see if the boss says anything
Edit: he was mad because he said something in what I guess was a rude tone, my coworker who was taking his order on the headset asked him not to be rude, which just made him more mad and after a little back and forth my coworker said he wouldn’t take his order and to have a nice night, that’s when he came in and flipped out on us.
