Just had a cold call from a recruiter and verified some info. Role was right in my ally and fully remote. When she asked what I would like for compensation I said 120k a year. She then says ok, would 38/hr be ok? I was like What? That's 40k less than what I asked. Told her no I'm looking for a pay increase that's why I'm in the market. She then turns around immediately and says she can do 50/hr. Sure I guess. I feel bad for anyone out of work and desperate that they would have taken the 38 offer first and not known she had 50 on the table.
I would get a 4-week paid stay in New England for training. I want to move to the area anyway so I can spend my time off exploring the area I suppose.
