“This role isn’t for everyone”

We had a two-person team. You hired a more experienced person to join our team. You gave him all the work things that were supposed to come to me. You gave the other guy more attention and more work to go after. What did I get? Totally screwed. When I asked for more, so I can do my job, there was suddenly nothing. Yeah of course I couldn't keep up. You gave me a reason for being fired that I showed you I had no control over several days/weeks ago. You said I was wrong, even though it was very clear. So instead you said, “This role isn't for everyone.” I put in more effort struggling to keep up and barely doing the minimum. Imagine how amazing I would've been if I'd been treated fairly. So long underpaying job. I struggled 6 months to get that job. Something I could…

So instead you said, “This role isn't for everyone.”

I put in more effort struggling to keep up and barely doing the minimum. Imagine how amazing I would've been if I'd been treated fairly.

So long underpaying job. I struggled 6 months to get that job. Something I could do even as a single parent with time constraints. Already lining up interviews for the same role with way better pay and treatment.

(And yeah, I'm a sobbing mess. I'm going to miss my friends and LinkedIn is full of posts from my job and I'm so scared…I hate work)
