Of course many things here can be applied to working situations across the globe, but it is clear that the majority here (by far) are U.S. citizens
And the problems you deal with a unbelievable. Many of the things you complain about are not problem of capitalism or our society, but specifically the U.S. System.
I am in no means sayings there aren't problems with capitalism or society, but those are simply often not the fault for the problem.
Example:
I have read that it's not federal law that you get paid more for a night shift but it's “common attitude” to do so, for example 1$ more the hour.
My salary is DOUBLED for a night shift and it's in our law that Sunday, night and holidays must be paid more
Example 2:
The way your boss talks with you and you with them, I can't even imagine how fucking awful that “relationship” must be
I never had a chef (and yes I worked couple of minimum wage jobs) who would be in any way disrespectful or not valuing me as a person
Thats just my two cents after browsing this sub for an hour straight. Dunno why I post this, but it made me angry of how fucked up your system is
