I have been working as a security guard for about 4 years now. I hear my company lost the contract for most of the posts in my area and another security company is coming in. Luckily this won't take effect until the Summer so I got plenty of time to look for something else.
I don't want to work in security anymore and looking for a career change. I currently live with my dad and he offers me a job. But I don't want to work for $10hr anymore and looking for a livable wage job. I'm trying to get into working from home since that is popular and I think that will be more fitting. Another option for me is to stick with my current company. Than when they go under and if they let me go I could collect unemployment for a while. What are some other options I could look into?
