I live in Michigan and took on a second job – that was supposed to only be PM shift. I ended up quitting w/o notice.
I did my first shift and then they sent out an email saying they will no longer be open at night. I tried my best to move my schedule around with my main job to make it work but it ended up just being too much.
Before quitting I could see on the square teams app that I had about 20% gratuity left for me.
I just got my paystub emailed and under tips it is $0.
Is there anything I can do about this? Is it legal?
I was being paid $15/hr – not sure if that would make a difference in the matter.
