So, my work place of 5 years has decided that I am to be payed less then the new hires.
I get 16.37 an hour. With 5 years of service at this location. And 9 more years of work history that can be considered experience.
14 years. 16.37 an hour…
And this is with me actively teaching these new hires, trying to stop them from losing hands and fingers and how to stay clean while working.
But I’m done with it. Sunday I told them after 2 months of asking for a raise that I was done with it. Walked out and told them to have a response for me when I come in today. Well, unless they give me 20+ an hour for my work I’m done. With my skill set and this city I live in, I could have a job in less then a week.
Tired of sweating my ass off and skipping breaks to help these corporate dogs. Even if I get the raise I’m done trying so hard.
