Today I realized how hypocritical I have been, and I bet you are too.

Today I got asked what I might want for my birthday in a few weeks. It dawned on me that I have been a hugely hypocritical in the fact that I am an pretty angry about the American workforce being treated like actual trained monkeys but I still consume the fruits of that labor. I decided for myself that I will limit my participation in this messed up system by giving myself (and encouraging others) to adopt a policy of “no store bought gifts”. If I am giving a gift for a birthday or holiday from now on, it will be at least partially hand made. Every time you or I buy something that we could have made ourselves with a little effort, it rewards the abusive system. So I am going to urge everyone reading this to take up my “no store bought presents” policy. Make something with your…
