I'm a contract worker for a Medicare conglomerate. Throughout this project with them, they've provided awful training, never had a straight answer for anything including the chain of command and basic questions such as “Who do I talk to about getting paid on time?” Well, I was getting paid on time so I just thought whatever, but the tech problems had gotten worse and they told me to call IT THEN penalized me for the time I took calling them, saying it was call avoidance. I'm on my Final Warning. My dad says if they fire me, it'll be a blessing and I've already let my recruiter know so she can find something else. Things had gone better today, but one of the male supervisors who alternates between being overly friendly and accusatory kept calling me “bud” and “pal.” With nothing to lose at this point, I told him to stop. Let's see how this one goes….
