Trying to figure out my health insurance options post-corporate, and have some Q’s

Hi all. I’m hoping that someone here can help answer a few questions I have. I am preparing to quit my corporate job and continue freelancing. (I am already freelancing and have established clients.) I currently receive health insurance through my corporate employer. I am based out of California. I know if I quit I would be eligible for COBRA. From what I understand, the cost of COBRA is 102% of what my employer is charged by the healthcare company. Question 1. How do I figure out what they are charged each month? Is it [what I pay each month $] + [number listed on my 1095-c $]? Question 2. If I choose to not elect COBRA, would I qualify for medi-cal outside of the enrollment period? Would the qualifying life event still be loss of coverage if I choose to leave my job and elect not to enroll in…
