hey in my country if get fired can get immediate unemployment no matter the cause. If quit need to wait 90 days first unless just cause which dont have.
ive been staying home for two months now on sick leave with some made up illness, doctor wont write me any more sick notes, now i have no sick leave or vacation days left and want to stay home till they fire me to collect immediate unemployment. wondering if i just stay home and dont work will i get a paycheck with a base salary? isnt it illegal for a company to lower ur base wage?
need to know because in case they do are able to and give me a empty paycheck, might be better to quit and wait the mandatory 90 days when quit to collect unemployment, since the unemployment amount reflects on ur prior base salary's amount
