Started for a large company and turned up on time for the induction/first day.
Yet they call everyone's name out and I'm not on the list. Every board room we went to, I was pencilled on at the bottom. Nobody was expecting me. Then they sit me in on safety regulations training for a certain department despite them not knowing what job I was actually going to be doing. Turns out it was a waste of 3 hours as I'm not even in that department. Then I get to reception where I'm supposed to be greeted by my team leader who takes another guy and forgets me. The lady on the desk phoned about and a couple of men come down to take me to a department. They are nice enough people but the company they work for is a shambles. They knew nothing of me, didn't even know my name. Asked me what I have worked on in the past so they know where to place me. After a brief interview scenario I was put on a machine shadowing a guy who's job I won't even be doing. Nobody knows shit about fuck. Mass recruitment is a joke. Plus the amount of forms I have to fill in for this short term contract is hideous.
Nothing like making things difficult.
Can't wait to get a better job and leave this joke
