Am I the only one who doesn't believe in giving 2 weeks notice? Hear me out. If I can be fired without notice for any reason, why is quitting without notice considered unprofessional? At will employment means that either the employee or employer can terminate employment any time without any reason. So here's the question, why is quitting without notice unprofessional but being fired without notice is just seen as a regular day?
