Typical, and and excellent example

I (very mistakenly) went back to retail after a 20 year hiatus because the company seemed to fit my values (a co-owner is a politician on my nominal side of the aisle), it was a largish company with an actual, albeit out of state, benefits/HR dept, and the path to leadership seemed doable. I left after 9 months of (insert 9 page diatribe here) BS for more pay, equitable benefits with the benefits person literally in my office space, and profit sharing. I've been gone a few weeks now, and yesterday I received a text from a supervisor at former job asking for my former co-worker/THEIR CURRENT EMPLOYEE'S (since October when the store opened) phone number. I thought I was beyond being surprised by their lack of professionalism and just terrible management, but here we are.
