So I am a manager on a IT Helpdesk in the UK. I treat all my team as humans and never treat them like crap.
My 6 month probation review is up on Wednesday, My manager speaks to me on Wednesday just gone he tells me that he has no real concerns and wednesday is a formality.
Friday (yesterday) he gets me in his office and tells me how rubbish I am at the job and how something beyond mine and my teams control (Its a ticket with a colleague on the dev team who also is the technical lead) is my fault and the fact someone doesn't like me because of the way I run MY desk
He said the deliverables he gave me mean nothing based on the Service Operations manager (Not even in my chain of command) I'm getting a 3 month extension
Except for dying for the company not sure what else I can do.
