Hey,
So I’ve been working as a developer at a new company for the last 2 months and well, the organisation is quite chaotic.
I’m working on 3 subject at a time, with no clear deadlines or worse yet, no clearly defined stack holders (at least in my mind) (and when they are they are not really reachable)
Been talking to my Project Manager about how the situation is distressing for me because it’s really unclear and all.
What does that asswipe tells me ?
Something along the line of :
“You must be autonomous, you’re are not a junior dev be proactive”
Bitch, I’ve got 10 year of experience, been a teacher, technical lead, had a company, made my own projects from scratch and constantly led projects at school. Don’t tell me I’m not autonomous.
Seriously I just want to slap this fresh out of college asshat in the face, don’t do fucking monthly meetings if you’re gonna blow YOUR failings at project management at me when I’m
reporting them !
It’s way too easy to tell people that the team want autonomous and proactive people and avoid any project management responsibilities.
fuck work honestly
