Under qualified new guy just got hired to “my” position

I’ve been a long time lurker on the sub but finally decided to post and get something off my chest. I got hired at a new job at the beginning of the year. It’s insurance. I got my license and have been working towards a better position in the company. I was hired as essentially a customer service rep getting paid less than 42k a year before taxes (and it’s hourly). Now I knew that I would be starting as a service rep given my lack of insurance experience but would be working towards (quickly) the salaried plus commission sales job. (I do have prior sales experience). Over the past month and a half I’ve been doing the work of all the positions in my company: service, account management, and even some sales (I have leads lined up).
I have been working very hard and have even been forced to miss a few lunches. Now I’ve been fine with this knowing it would be short term. The sales manager has even let me know they want me selling asap. I figured once I’m off my probationary period I would get the position seeing how hard I have been working for it.
However as inflation and prices are skyrocketing everywhere I need a raise now. I have a wife and just bought a home so I need more money than I’m making.
Enter new guy: he has no prior insurance or sales experience and hired in at the position (and I’m willing to bet much higher pay and he’s not hourly) I’ve been working my butt off for. I’m really pissed and have no idea what to do.
I’m underpaid and working things that aren’t my job and now someone else just got hired in for what I’ve been working so hard for….

Also disclaimer I should just say my managers and bosses are all very nice and I love the people I work with but that doesn’t mean I feel too great.
