Unemployed, has an MA, no “experience”, and living off of leftover student loans

Idk if this is the right subreddit to post this, but I am struggling so much with the entire job searching process. I spent the last 8 years getting both my BA and my MA and apparently have no experience. I worked several part-time jobs in school and became a substitute teacher, but now I just want a job that won't make me hate myself and that pays me what I'm worth. Everything I see has an experience requirement of 5+ years in a very-specific-program, or only pays a $16 hourly wage. Anytime I've gotten an interview, they've told me that I was a pleasure to interview but I never seem to have “the right” experience. What am I even supposed to do? I did the work, I got a master's degree, I paid my tuition, I was promised that my degree would open all sorts of doors that would've…

What am I even supposed to do? I did the work, I got a master's degree, I paid my tuition, I was promised that my degree would open all sorts of doors that would've been unavailable. But honestly I'm terrified that my only option is to go back to a terrible minimum wage job that I hate.
