Unpaid online training?

I recently started working at a bar and the job is rewarding and fun, but there’s one manager no one really likes. This manager has informed me I have 3 hours of online training to complete by wednesday, in order for me to be ‘fully employed legally’, as it’s a requirement in my area that bar staff are trained in these areas. I’m seriously considering refusing to do it unless I get paid, but I do like the job and I don’t want to risk losing it. Should I tell him I’ll only do it if it’s paid? Or suck it up and just do the training. In my mind, anything work related you should be paid for.
