OK, quite an exaggeration, but I thought this was funny. Not exactly antiwork, but anti-landlord.
We've lived in this neighborhood for a very long time. Longer than our next door neighbors who retired & moved to warmer climes. They now rent their house which kinda sucks because we live in an area that's ridiculously short on housing, but it's really none of my business. We rarely talk to the homeowners/landlords anymore. Just every now & then when we need to do something that impacts them (trimming a dead tree limb that's hanging over the fence). Today we got this:
Did you guys sell your house? I was over at the house yesterday & saw two different cars in the garage. Knowing you were there gave us a little security in the maintenance area as we believed you would let us know of any problems.
Had no idea we were supposed to keep an eye out for maintenance issues or narc on the renters.
