[Update] My job is breaking me

I quit today. I got yet another email from the department director letting me know to call her so we can “works things out” between me and my disrespectful, backstabbing employee. Yet again, even after multiple people in the department complained and a manager of department also confirmed what's been going on, this particular person is protected by the higher-up. I sent proof of things she was doing incorrectly that were costing the company money, etc. And they didn't care. So I quit. And now they're freaking out. Because the CEO hated my 2nd-in-command (the CEO “isn't racist” but hates every black employee) I was never allowed to train him to do specific things… Like payroll. Or calculating commissions. He's never done billing either. I did billing up through 2pm, sent my glorious resignation letter, and logged out of everything. They have 2 business days to figure out everything, since…

They have 2 business days to figure out everything, since payroll is due Monday.

I was going to make them fire me, but quitting was needed for my mental health.

I have experience in leadership and management (not the same thing!), over a decade in a high-volume call center providing customer support and technical support, training experience (including creating training guides for SaaS systems), and experience with de-escalation from working for Disney. Rent in paid up through June. Money will be tight but I'm confident I'll find something.

Thank you to everyone for your comments and PMs.
