Some time ago, I made a post here about how a new hire in my field was making 35k more than me even though we had the same degree and job title.
I am happy to announce that I have turned in my notice to my current employer (now ex-employer). I have accepted a new job where I make 50k more. I have better hours, better benefits, and a more prestigious title.
My ex-employer begged me to reconsider. Called my personal phone numerous times, sent more than one email. I ignored all of them. You wouldn't give me the time of day or decency to even sit down to talk about my pay and now you want me to listen to you?
