Useful, adventurous or new things to do after being let go from a job?

Was recently let go from a position and I was actually so relieved cause I felt like my time at that place had ran its course and I was beginning to feel burnt out anyway. But with that, I recently found myself with quite a bit of downtime, as you can imagine. I try to keep a busy mind; I finally have time to focus on other areas of my life like cleaning and reorganizing my home, finally being able to focus on getting this garden going and getting myself into therapy. But I’ve also always dreamt of hopping in my car and just… driving. Bringing nothing but a few pairs of clothes, my Bluetooth speaker, some pots and pans to cook with and my sketchbook and just camping out in nature wherever the road may take me. …With gas prices nearing $7 in California, that dream may be put…

…With gas prices nearing $7 in California, that dream may be put on the back burner for some time but what are some things everyone should give a shot once they’ve been freed from monotonous 9-5 scheduling?
