Luckily I didn’t have to interview with this guy. I get the connection…but there are so many types of engineering, manufacturing methods, so many types of thinkers (intuitive, abstract, analytical, etc..)…he basically has a question that might as well be “so how similar are you and I?”
To be clear…this manager put a GREAT deal of weight in how somebody would answer this question.
Also—a lot of people haven’t had the opportunity to work on cars. It’s not a cheap hobby.
It almost reminds me of the “so do ya like beer?”
