Accepted a job through a staffing agency for a remote contract position. 26/hour with an estimated start date of 6/13. I've done all my onboarding, background check, drug test. The only thing keeping me from starting is the lack of a laptop from the company I'll be working for. The days are just ticking by, becoming more stressful without any income. Is it unreasonable to ask for some form of compensation or even an advance? My gut tells me I won't get a cent but let me know what you think. Thank you all!
