I am personally moving soon to a new state so I am taking time off in August to travel there for a few weeks to look around. Get a good idea of the area and see where I want to live exactly.
I asked my friend if she wants to go for the trip and take off for 2 weeks. She was completely 100% down. I wake up this morning with a message from her “I requested a personal leave at work and I told them I was helping you move up there. They are requesting a copy of your ID and confirmation of the hotel”
They want my ID and my hotel confirmation? What the hell is wrong with you people. If she wants to take time off work and is NOT being paid for it. Why is it any business to them? This is insane to me. This isn't the first time her job has said or done something weird. Not sure what to do, I'm definitely not giving them any of my info though that's for sure.
Have any of you guys had similar experiences to warehouse jobs like this?
Not going to say the name of the company but let's just say 2 day shipping with a subscription.
