We agreed on pay over a handshake.

I’m in a pretty high up position that I earned for doing the groundwork and building my CEO’s company that got started half a decade ago. Part of my concessions early on was shit pay because I knew what could be afforded. Last year our company was in the black and we started talking pay. I made about 5% of the gross revenue I figured out at the end of the year. A little more but I rounded down. I went to the boss and stated my case in negotiations and said the company will grow and I want my pay to grow at the same rate. I want 5% off all income that comes into our business. Now my boss is saying he agreed to net income and plans to use all income and reinvest in the company. It was strictly handshake agreement. Is there anything I can do.
