Legit protesting, none of the January 6th, Ottawa bullshit/shit storms that we’ve seen.
Those of us that want a better life need to gather, and peacefully protest, because our voices need to be heard. Look at the crowds Dr. King drew, and he was just one person (there were a great deal of volunteers who helped make it happen). Could you imagine if more of us dedicated the time and effort to protest in front of each of these businesses that’s trampling over us? Imagine what that would do!
People are standing up for Starbucks workers who want to unionize, and look at the AMAZING progress they’re making!
If we see a story on here that we want to see defended, we should honestly ask one another, who would stand up for that person by protesting for them, making an outside voice heard, so these companies become aware that we’re watching them.
Is this asking a lot?
I feel like the people who marched in the 60s, and who died trying to draw attention to the injustices going on, specifically racism, knew they had a solidarity with one another, and I want the people here to know that I’m on your side.
If you are legitimately having issues at work, and you’re local, I will be your voice in front of your work. I will stand there with a sign, and let your employer know how shitty they are. I don’t give a shit anymore. They’re already starting to starve us, so what do we have left to lose?
I don’t know what else to do anymore, because I’m struggling like so many other people I have seen on here. I just want you to know you’re not alone, and I’ll help the only way I can. I believe in all of us.
This will get better, because we will make it better ourselves.
I hope I stayed on track. I’m a bit bummed about life right now, so my thoughts are probably in different directions; my bad on that.
