The United States is going through its medieval period.
Everyone knows the United States is a young country. According to https://en.as.com/en/2020/07/04/latest_news/1593870094_185404.amp.html, written in 2020, “that makes the country 244 years old as of today.” Two years later, in 2022, the United States is/or will be 246 years old.
We: Our country, and our people were born out of the desire to, against all odds, defy our masters and live for the sake of living, Godamnit. It's in our literal constitution, “…insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.” us constitution thingy
Remember, we are the children of our parents. Parents that date back all the way to the foundation and culture of said country, who continue to uphold the traditions of their ancestors. And remember, we are only here because our parents and our ancestors before them decided life was worth living through and fighting for.
So long as we live and breathe, live and love, live and survive, live and fight– we will create the change we wish to see. Because our hands will make it so. Our feet will carry us there. We have the backing, fortitude and wisdom of those who came before, and allyship determined just as us to charge forward.
To charge and seize the day, to demand basic living conditions! As all living creatures need and deserve! As if we need to inform everyone of this, but apparently not! You have traded your humanity for cold lumps of gold and cash. You have drained the very soul of the human to a mere hours at night for your own ghoulish profit. You have driven people from their homes and denied them means to establish themselves, penalizing people on the basis of poverty.
Such punishment and penalizing for a person to wander and amble through natural lands, forgetting that he, himself, arose from the earth, as all life did. We believe ourselves Gods compared to nature and her beasts so that we subdue her natural formations, destroy it whenever we whim, and give all thought to hell about whatever we yeet into the ocean– all these actions have consequences. Global warming is the consequence of the human industrial revolution.
All this gestures widely poverty you see, hear, and feel is consequences of greed. Greed from the bloodthirsty monstrous greed of the 1% hoarding their wealth like real life dragons.
Which like dragons, they must be slain. Defeated. Conquered. Overthrown, if you will.
It's so funny how history repeats itself doesn't it?
We have this great, mighty plague in our year of 2022. England, 1381 went through some good ol' Black Death, as well. We have a massive depression lingering in the back of our heads, and it's getting harder to get by. So did England, 1381. Now, I understand there may be people who understand this topic more than do.peasants revolt thingy
But I understand peasantry. You're looking at it. Everything so expensive, basic commodities limited, ascension block by a paywall, can't even build basic structure for housing, as has every living thing on this planet has done?
Try as you might, but you cannot stop human nature– and that is our will to survive.
We team up against mammoths, we team up against General managers, hr, management, the city, the state, to unionize and demand basic human rights.
We team up against any adversary we have and we will win.
You feel it in the air, don't you? People have had enough. And what do people do when they've had enough?
They strike. They unionize. They stop asking politely and start yelling. Demanding.
We outnumber them 99 to 1. And the 1% knows us. And fears us. There are more with us than there are of you. We are the 99%.
