We need to organize

i always see stuff about how the 8 hour work day was won by workers who went on strike and demanded better conditions. and that’s true and a good thing to remember, but does anyone feel like our society could never do that again? i see random people posting on tiktok or twitter about 1 day general strikes. there’s no real organization, no protection for people who may lose their job as a result of striking, no real plan. also a 1 day strike won’t do anything for the vast majority of workers. we can’t get what we want by attempting to plan short lived strikes via social media. there has to be some sort of organization for this or else tons of working class people will just be left without a job. i don’t know anything about organizing protests or strikes, so i have no idea what the logistics…

i don’t know anything about organizing protests or strikes, so i have no idea what the logistics are or what kind of planning goes into it, but i feel like we won’t get anywhere if we don’t have planning.

i want change. we all want change. but how the fuck do we actually accomplish that?
