The US has the most prisoners on Earth, with 2.2 million incarcerated individuals, making up 25% of the global prisoner population despite the US having only 4% of all human beings. What are these individuals given by the government? Prisoners are entitled to free healthcare, three meals a day, the opportunity to learn professions, and a bed to sleep in, all without having to do any work at all. I have no problem with this. In fact, I think that this should spread outside of the prison population into the general one. Free healthcare, nutrition, education, and shelter should be rights for everyone instead of being things you're required to work for. We should get to live like prisoners, minus the imprisonment of course
