I'm job hunting atm hit the ground hard. Had interview at least one interview a week for the past few weeks.
The first interviews ended with we'll call you regardless and let you know by the end of next week. I'm thinking great. Last week was supposed to be the week I heard something. I didn't. I called today spoke to hr she said I'll call tight back and let you know. This was 845am. 2pm rolls around I'm wondering what's going on I just need a yes or no is the position filled. I called back and asked for hr again oh I'm sorry I was in meetings all morning I'll get back to you.
You all know the stupid amount of work and resources you have to put in just to get an interview. And all I want is them to hold up the one thing they said they would do. They should have just said “we'll give you a call if we decide to move forward with you”. Jfc is that hard? But nooo people don't want to work blah blah. They make the job process so demanding to weed people out sure I can understand that to a degree. Is this not professional common curiosity to follow up with your word. DON'T SAY YOU'LL CALL WHEN YOU WON'T.
