I am suffering from anxiety, depression and imposter syndrome my whole adult life. And obviously, I have problems telling people NO.
Job
So I got into this new job a sales manager. Company pretty successful to a certain level, but if you look inside, you will see that their success was just a fluke – being at a right place and a right time. Never mind. Boss is my uncle's high school friend back from Texas, so my uncle recommended me to him.
“Job description? Never head of it.”
I started working and their presentation slideshow(&company logo), was so bad, it made me want to puke. I said “guys, in order for me to sell, we will need at least a new presentation”.
Boss goes: Sure, you can go ahead and do it.
Me not being able to reject and say “NO, That's not my job responsibility” on my first day and not wanting to create “conflict” because he is my uncle's friend – I agree.

Then I say, how do you guys find new clients. They say whatever you think is the best option. I'm asking if they have LinkedIn page – they say yes, and show me it – so it makes me want to puke second time. Imagine bad. Now multiply it 5 times. Yes that bad.
So I am saying guys we will need someone to handle Linkedin page, to engage people with it so people hear about the company – the answer I get “sure, we will. meanwhile can you please start doing that SMM stuff, before we find someone?”
My stupid ass agrees again.
I hate myself and this job. My anxiety is massive, as if its the end of the world.
